Shilparamam is an arts and crafts village located near Hitech City, in Hyderabad. It is spread over 50 acres of land and is surrounded by wild vegetation and unique rock formations. The village was conceived with an idea to create an environment for the preservation of traditional crafts.

A major attraction at Shilparamam is the amphitheater where rural and urban artistes meet and interact through workshops, seminars and festivals. Artists from all over the country come here to perform. Every season ushers in celebrations galore in Shilparamam. Festivals are celebrated in the most traditional. These festivals help in establishing direct contact between the artisans and the buyers.The end of the festive season does not mean that the artisans have gone back to their villages. Salar Jung Museum In Hyderabad India

The Salar Jung Museum is located on the banks of the Musi river 1951. It is the third largest museum in India and boasts of having one of the largest one-man collections of antiques in the world. This museum was set up by Mir Yusuf Ali Khan, popularly known as Salar Jung III, the prime minister of the erstwhile Nizam of Hyderabad. He was passionate about collecting art objects, manuscripts etc from all around the world. His collection includes Priceless sculptures and paintings, Clocks, Flower Vases, Antique Furniture, Rare Manuscripts Persian Carpets, Jeweled Daggers and Swords, Varieties of Koran, Utensils and Royal Costumes.
The museum also houses an impressive collection of European and Indian paintings. One of the most popular items on display is the 'Veiled Rebecca',a white marble sculpture with a veil. Another popular attraction is the 100 year-old cuckoo clock, which is still in a working condition. Every hour as the clock strikes a bird comes out of the clock.
